Allowing child to use TV

Children never want to rest. They are just these little perpetual energized humans with an expanded measure of energy that they believe will never quit. They will protest at the mere thought of a good rest. Yet without enough rest children become these detached and uncomfortable little humans that can rule the house with a mighty fist. Children need rest regardless of what they think and it is part of a parent’s job to ensure that they get it. Children need uninterrupted rest throughout the night and they need rest during the day. Children might not agree, but that is why they are little and you are big.Allowing a child to use TV to fall asleep usually leads to a filtered rest. Many children can fight sleep like warriors fight their enemies. Rest is essential to growth, emotionally and physically, and children are in such a constant state of growth that denying them rest is about as profound as denying them food. Without rest they can not continue to grow. Children up to the age of seven often need a daily rest during the day, although most children can give up the daily rest around the age of five if they are getting enough rest at night. No matter how difficult it might be to offer a child an appropriate amount of rest, this is the one time when being the parent is vital. They need the rest in order to remain those supercharged humans that tear through the first several years of life.
